    Senior Citrix Administrator

    Role Overview

    As a Senior Citrix Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our client's Citrix infrastructure deployed on VMware Metro Cluster. This critical platform supports access to applications and desktops for 500 concurrent users, and your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring its high availability, security, and optimal performance.

    Position Responsibilities

    This role involves the following:

    • Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage and maintain the Citrix infrastructure deployed on VMware Metro Cluster to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
    • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Citrix XenApp architecture and supporting services to enhance user experience and efficiency.
    • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards within the Citrix environment to safeguard client data and meet regulatory requirements.
    • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Citrix and VMware Metro Cluster, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and application delivery issues.
    • Capacity Planning and Upgrades: Conduct capacity planning assessments and recommend infrastructure upgrades to support growing user demands and ensure scalability.
    • Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies for Citrix and VMware environments to ensure business continuity.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports. Provide regular status updates and performance reports to management and stakeholders.
    • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and client stakeholders to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and support project initiatives.
    • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training to junior administrators and end-users on Citrix and VMware technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.


     

    Technical Competencies

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Citrix Administrator, with a strong focus on Citrix XenApp, FSlogix, Netscaler, Provisioning Server, VMware, Control-Up and supporting technologies.
    • Expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining Citrix environments in enterprise settings, including advanced configurations and integrations.
    • Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization & HPE dHCI Platforms.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis.
    • Certifications such as Citrix Certified Associate (CCA), Citrix Certified Professional (CCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent are preferred.
