- Levelling up in the North: Auxilion doubles down on UK presence
- The Irish organisation is looking to acquire a mid-tier IT service provider in the UK
- Part of multi-million investment will go towards the expansion of its Services Centre of Excellence in Sheffield
- Auxilion also plans to increase its UK workforce by 60 people over the next two years
- Plans are part of company’s ambitious three-year expansion strategy
Sheffield, 19th October 2022 – Auxilion, a leading provider of digitally transformative IT services and solutions, today announces that it is planning to acquire a company as part of its £15 million investment in its UK expansion plans for the next three years. Auxilion also plans to increase its existing UK workforce by 60 people over the next two years.
Operating from Sheffield, Telford and Warrington in the UK, the Irish organisation is actively looking to acquire a mid-tier IT service provider in the UK which will complement its existing portfolio of high-quality managed services and innovative IT solutions.
Part of the multimillion investment will go towards Auxilion’s Services Centre of Excellence in Sheffield, which delivers 24/7 support to its growing customer base – spanning both the public and private sectors including Dell, HP Inc, BT, Canford Health, Applegreen and Mainstream Renewable Power.
As well as developing the space as a hub for collaboration, ideation and value creation, Auxilion is expanding its floor space by 60% and adding to its team. The aim is to increase its UK workforce by 60 people over the next two years and will be focused on the extension to its Services Centre of Excellence, which will have the capacity for up to 120 employees. The company’s Sheffield location will be a hub of innovation and service excellence for Auxilion group, with part of the investment going towards new tools and technologies which will drive increased efficiencies and services innovation, necessary for the complex multi-cloud world.
The organisation – which works with industry-leading partners such as Microsoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise – expects the investment to further strengthen its presence in the UK market, enabling it to drive significant business growth, strengthen its partner ecosystem and attract quality talent to achieve its ambitious growth strategy.
This growth will be driven by the acquisition and organic sales, with increasing demand across the areas of managed services, modern and hybrid workplace solutions, digital transformation strategies, ICT development, Business Process Optimisation solutions, resourcing and project governance services.
Earlier this year, Auxilion announced that it is on course to grow its revenues by 25% by the end of 2022, compared to 2021, taking its revenues beyond £40million.
Speaking about the news, Philip Maguire, CEO of Auxilion, said: “Our acquisition plans and this significant investment show how committed we are to expanding our presence in the UK market, where we have operated for more than 20 years. The north of England offers unique opportunities, most notably due to the access it provides to top-quality talent.
“We, as a company, are also uniquely positioned in terms of the quality of service we deliver and our experience in the industry. We see ourselves as not merely a partner for, but a part of, our customers’ operations. Furthermore, we are laser-focused on providing innovative services and solutions that deliver near-term and future value, enabling companies to navigate disruption and transformation successfully.
“Central to this is our people and culture. Having a team of highly skilled, engaged professionals is crucial in terms of our ability to deliver digital thinking, built differently. By taking advantage of the talent pool in the north of England and acquiring a like-minded, similarly aligned company, we can lead digital change and make a real impact.”
