Philip Maguire is the founder and CEO of I.T. Alliance Group, and an acknowledged leader in outsourcing and information technology services. Since 1997 he has consistently grown the company’s offering and its profitability by marrying a large, flexible employee base and solid industry partnerships with companies like HP, IBM, BT, Dell and Microsoft. I.T. Alliance currently employs in excess of 500 people. Though headquartered in Dublin with presence across Ireland and the UK, I.T. Alliance’s capabilities have influenced projects in the US, South Africa, the Far East and other international territories. Since establishing I.T. Alliance as an outsourcing partner of choice for the leading outsourcers in the tech industry, Philip has since gone on to establish two offerings in the market. Launched in 2011, I.T. Alliance Resourcing Services provides interim I.T. and business contract staff to organisations struggling to find elite talent in the market. Auxilion, launched in 2012, provides cloud transformation and 24×7 support services to international corporates. Philip encourages an entrepreneurial ethos and encourages the use of technology to facilitate better working practices within the company. He attributes much of his own success to these factors and the company’s strong industry alliances. Philip is a member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland, and has a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Trinity College, where he was awarded the John Goodman Prize for the best graduate on the programme. The Irish Management Institute also presented him with the Charles Harvey Award in 1991.
